With the recession and many people losing their jobs, charity organizations globally have lost the potential to sum-up financial donations as compared to the previous years. However, the number of people now depending on charitable institutions is climbing.
We understand that there are many who currently are not in a comfortable financial position to donate or there are many who want to volunteer but don't have the time. This is why Zivaa was started. By using Zivaa as your search engine, which is powered by Google, Zivaa gets paid a couple of bucks as per Google Adsense program, click here. These bucks are then donated to the charities (http://www.zivaa.com/support.html) we support. Thus contributing without necessarily pulling out a check book / your wallet.
If you use Zivaa, then you are a contributor to these charities and we would like to know who you are. Your Name, what you do, where are you from, a picture etc. We will shortly be launching the "Wall of Fame", cliché, Yes we know! :-) but that’s what it will be. We will put you up on "The Wall". If your shy then you could maybe do it in memory of a loved one.

Finally, Zivaa is built on a social concept of helping people and the bettering the environment. We look forward to inputs and suggestions from you guys either in ways to better the site or if you would like to contribute the blog by sharing advice, or writing on a topic or suggesting new charities etc. We also would appreciate all the help we could get in spreading the word around.
